JEMTECH has been supplying safety components since 1997.

In the past ten years we are proud of our innovations including:

• One of the world's first configurable safety controllers - The Vigilante V65
• Development of unique laser safety sensors for long-folder guarding
• Development of safety switching systems using RFID (Radio Frequency identification) technology
• Machinery stopping performance measurement using MEMS accelerometers and DSP technology
• Application of movement monitoring hardware and software for the elimination of expensive hydraulic monitoring in press brakes

In addition to these achievements,we have completed the installation and comissioning of hundreds of machinery safety systems using our own Australian designed and manufactured products.

We began as a company developing products for Mascon RED-EYE Systems. The prevailing market at the time used fixed function controllers. In a small market, we perceived that a large number of low volume products would not proove profitable. On the other hand, a device made to a common pattern with re-loadable software modules would offset these disadvantages - and the Vigilante V6 series was born.

With the closure of Mascon Systems in 2001, JEMTECH decided to market the products it owned directly. In the past six years, we have added products to our portfolio and will soon be making the Vigilante system even more flexible and powerful.
